SPIRAL GARDEN  & MAQUETTE 2019-2022

The Spiral Garden Maquette measures 11’x17.8’ and is a prototype for a large public sustainable flower garden designed for an urban setting. Inspired by the golden section the proposed 61.8’x100’ flower garden contains a 6’ wide spiraling path that arcs through each square flower bed as it leads to a small golden rectangle measuring 14.6’x23.6’.

The selected garden flowers reflect those that one might see in city bouquets, but usually does not experience in abundance growing in a field. The flower beds include: Cosmos Versailles, 61.8’x61.8’; Zinnia Queen Mix, 38.2’x38.2’; Centaurea Choice Mix (Bachelor Buttons), 23.6’x23.6’; and Rocket Golden Snapdragon, 14.6’x23.6’.
